In 1987, AA Speedy Locksmiths & Security cc was formed in the Republic of South Africa. A duly formed private corporation, the company consisted of only the founder J.D. De Sousa, a office was rented in Menlo Park, Pretoria within three months the first three employees were hired, a telephone receptionist, dispatcher, and a locksmith security technician. Right in the beginning the spirit of teamwork began with the very first team members. The policy back then was that nobody worked for the founder but with the founder. This policy still exists today. The founder from the beginning realized the value of key qualified employees, customers, quality, fast service and correct pricing of services and products.

The little company grew in sales within the first six months. Practicing and delivering a very high standard of quality work, reliable services and moderate pricing stimulated the growth. Speedy Locksmiths has always competed on the market with superior quality and fast service, from the very beginning.

We're a family-owned business that provides personalized locksmith & security services. We specialize in all locksmiths, safes and security services, which includes lockouts, lock rekeys, broken key extractions, vehicle lockouts for any make and model, lock & safe sales, and safe moving. A collective of over 80 years of experience in locksmith and security. We offer 24/7 emergency locksmith services. When you call us, you speak directly to a locksmith not a call center.

At SPEEDY LOCKSMITH we believe in superior service and products, if you have an emergency, which is true for most of our customers we respond speedily, usually within 40 minutes. We take our service very seriously, hence our motto “we’re serious about service”. There are fully equipped and stocked mobile service vans ready to serve you.

We provide emergency mobile service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our service vehicles are fully equipped, with the latest locksmith technology tools and equipment available. We carry a wide variety of locks and parts in our mobile units. We warranty our work. We have fast response times, offering 30-minute guaranteed emergency responses, or we deduct $10 off your invoice in case of life-threatening situations.

Our shop and safe showroom is centrally located at 1640 Golden Gate Parkway, Suite 105, Naples, Florida 34108 for your convenance. Shop hours are from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. If you need a simple key duplicated or a Auto Key FOB made we can do this for you.

We service all of Collier and Lee County back-to-back. The founder J.D. De Sousa has over 40 years of international locksmith and security experience in all aspects of the industry.

In 1987, AA Speedy Locksmiths & Security cc was formed in the Republic of South Africa.

Year- 1990 South Africa

AA Speedy Locksmiths & Security was the first locksmith service company in South Africa to offer their customers direct access to the locksmith via cellular telephone in 1990, the old cellular number was 0-810-12-0255 very similar to the toll-free number of 0-800-11-4866

Year - 1992 South Africa

The demand for faster service increased “I want service now!” lead to the Speedy Locksmith express service motorcycles.

Year - 1998 South Africa

The business had grown in the next five years at this time the corporation was servicing the Johannesburg and Pretoria metropolitan area latter serviced all of South Africa with multiple locations and service mobile workshops. In 1998 the founder sold his shares off.

Year - 1995 USA

AA Speedy Locksmiths – U.S.A. was formed in November 1995. The founder purchased a small yellow page advert for $2,000. The first US mobile Workshop was introduced.

Year - 1996 USA

In October 1996 AA Speedy Locksmiths & Security had five employees to assist the founder. Speedy Locksmiths had nine mobile workshops service vehicles and two sales vehicles.

Year - 1999 USA

In 1999 while Google and Yahoo was in its early stages of development, Speedy Locksmiths was one of the very first locksmith companies with a website.

Year - 2000 USA

From 2000 onwards Speedy Locksmiths enjoyed a steady growth, becoming a AAA preferred vendor with 4 contract stations, pioneer program for AAA and locksmith shops before AAA rolled out nationwide

Year - 2003 USA

In 2003 a Naples Florida location was opened at 1575 Pine Ridge Road, Naples. Speedy Locksmiths continues to service Collier and Lee county in South West Florida.

Year - 2005 USA

In 2005 Speedy Locksmith - California was sold.

Year - 2019 USA

2019 a new office opened that is centrally located at 27499 Riverview Center Blvd, Suite 424, Bonita Springs, FL, 34134.

Year - 2021 USA

2021 Naples Florida, shop and safe showroom opened. Located at 881 103^rd Avenue North, Naples, FL, 34108.

Year - 2022 USA

In 2022 the Naples Florida shop and safe showroom was moved to a larger square foot retail space and more parking bays availability the current address is 1460 Golden Gate Parkway, Suite No. 105, Naples, FL, 34105.
